Shimko, a trial lawyer since 1976 who founded the firm in 1988. The firm's history

Shimko Law P.C. carries on the practice of Timothy A. Shimko, a trial lawyer admitted in Ohio in 1976 who founded Timothy A. Shimko & Associates in Cleveland in 1988. Built to take trials for other law firms and their clients, the firm litigated in state and federal courts in more than fifteen states and represented clients from Canada, Germany, Greece, India, Korea, Mexico, and China. By the firm's own account, Timothy Shimko tried more than 250 cases to verdict and recovered more than 100 million dollars for clients, and was repeatedly named a Martindale Hubbell Preeminent Lawyer and one of Northeast Ohio's top 100 lawyers by Inside Business Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers. Daniel Shimko joined the firm as of counsel and carried its practice to Brooklyn.
